Minnesota Tree Seed Collector Training

We have many relationships with trees as sources of food, timber, beauty, shade, and carbon sequestration. Meeting all of these needs requires more trees, and therefore more seed.

Getting involved in tree seed collection offers an opportunity to spend quality time outside, getting into the rhythms of the seasons and potentially earning some spending money.

Wherever you are in Minnesota (or Wisconsin!), there are species of interest near you! Learn more about the trees and the process on this site.
